CLASS ENROLLMENT: We offer 4 sessions of training year round: Fall, which runs September to November, Winter, which runs January to March, Spring, which runs April to June, and Summer, which runs July and August. In December we have an acting intensive. Throughout the year we have professional skills courses and workshops to keep the student body diverse in their skills.
CLASS PLACEMENT AND ADVANCEMENT: Students must first train in the Beginning Level for 6 months before becoming eligible to apply and audition for Intermediate. Intermediate students must train for 3 sessions before becoming eligible for the Advanced Level. Advanced students must have at least 1 session completed before being eligible for the Industry Showcase. When a student has considerable prior training and professional experience, they may audition to surpass the progression of classes. And only then, they may start with 10 private coaching sessions to then audition again for Intermediate. The reason for this is extremely important. The Intermediate Class is a Scene Study course in which students are expected to integrate all Seven Pillars in their work. Any student joining the class must be familiar with the vernacular, philosophy, and exercises of Seven Pillars in order to get the most out of this class. Also, the Intermediate Class requires rigorous rehearsal and preparation for each class session; therefore, we must prepare the student in the Beginning Classes for the discipline required for Intermediate. Only by having a student in class (or privates) can we properly train him or her in the technique and gauge their level of professionalism, commitment and discipline.
