Siobhan Doherty
Siobhan Doherty is a Los Angeles-based teacher, actor, producer, and director. As a teacher, she is the head of Voice and Speech at The Art of Acting Studio, the Stella Adler studio in LA. Siobhan also coaches accents and dialects through her company, Speaking of Accents, and serves on faculty at Hussian College LA. She has taught at UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, and Utah Shakespeare Festival, and has presented workshops at Utah State University and CSU Long Beach.

Recent acting credits include Bailey Gallagher in John Proctor is the Villain with South Coast Rep, Ophelia in The Hamlet Project with Loose Canon Collective, and the new indie thriller The Perfect Host on Amazon Prime. She recently directed productions of Peter and the Starcatcher, The Boatman, and Metamorphoses at The Art of Acting Studio, as well as Hussian College’s production of Orlando by Virginia Woolf, adapted by Sarah Ruhl. Siobhan has worked regionally with Utah Shakespeare Festival, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, PCPA, and Berkeley Repertory Theater.

As a producer, Siobhan has worked on commercials and industrials, with companies trusted by Marvel, Universal, Spotify, Nintendo, and MTV. She also produces web series, including the award-winning series Pairings, and the comedy series Super(fluous). She also writes, directs, and performs with the digital sketch team DAME Sketch Comedy.

She is a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association. M.F.A UC Irvine. B.A. UC Berkeley. Certificate PCPA.
