Trent Kemper

“Strong, Intelligent and loyal to a fault. He’s a tough blue-collar type on the outside but a goofy and lovable father on the inside.”

Trent Kemper is a Los Angeles based actor that is known for his intense look but lovable
charm. He was born in the Midwest but moved to Colorado when he was six where he spent his formative years roaming the hills around his house pretending that he was Indiana Jones or in, The Swiss Family Robinson. He has always loved film and television and when he was young, begged his mom to let him skip school to go to his first audition for the lead in, Free Willy. Trent wasn’t just interested in acting though as he excelled in sports growing up. He was accomplished both on the mat where he lettered as a freshman in wrestling and on the football field. When he wasn’t playing sports, he was riding horses, rock climbing, hiking 14ers, snowboarding and pretty much anything
outdoors. He even tried his hand at riding bulls for a short time. In college, he studied speech communication. Writing and giving speeches helped him learn how to draw in an audience and keep their attention. This is also probably why his fraternity elected him the Sgt. of Arms, where he opened meetings for his chapter and was also in charge of keeping everyone in order. After college he got a job as a supervisor for a construction company. He oversaw experienced crews while working on large federal jobs and learned how to operate an assortment of heavy machinery. Trent later moved to California where he started a family. He loves being a dad and would do anything for
his kids. Being a father has enriched his life more than he ever dreamed possible. After all, pushing the kids to follow their dreams is a big reason why he is now back to chasing his.

Trent is now back to doing what he loves most and using all his life experience to create
characters for the stage and screen. Trent has spent the last four years training at the Actors Studio of Orange County, where he learned the Seven Pillars Acting Technique. The tools that he’s acquired in his time at the studio have helped him land numerous roles in student and independent films. He is currently in the film Bodies, an LMU short, that is making a festival run. It recently got into the LALIFF, an Oscar-qualifying festival and was just featured in an article for Deadline:

In it he plays a cop, something that he is very familiar with, being that his father is a retired police officer. Growing up with a cop in the house has given him a unique insight into that life, making him extremely comfortable in those types of roles. Don’t get it twisted though, Trent is a versatile actor and loves to be challenged. Playing cops might prove to be his golden ticket but his passion for playing a variety of different characters will be what keeps his creative torch burning.
