Marcelle Robidoux
"Shining a light on the fighters in the shadows—where quiet resilience meets grace and grit—by highlighting characters who redefine strength on their own terms."
Marcelle is a thoughtful, grounded performer originally from Northern California, where she first connected with storytelling through movement. From middle school through high school, she trained in gymnastics and cheerleading, and especially loved choreographing routines—often mixing her own music on a dual cassette recorder to bring her creative vision to life. As a varsity cheerleader, her squad placed 2nd in their division at the National Cheerleading Competition in Disney World.
Before pursuing acting, Marcelle spent over 15 years as a UX/UI designer in the tech industry. She now works with intellectually and developmentally disabled adults to support their independence—an experience that deepens her empathy and emotional insight as an actor.
Marcelle has trained for nearly two years at The Actor’s Studio of Orange County, where she studied the 7 Pillars Technique, building a strong foundation in self-tape technique, on-camera work, and emotionally expressive performance. She is currently expanding her range through improv classes at South Coast Repertory and has completed an introductory course in Intimacy Education, reinforcing her commitment to a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment.
Marcelle was the lead in a CSU Long Beach student film, portraying a mother torn between staying with her dying father or leaving for a new life on another planet. She also appeared in a student-run musical production of Shakespear’s As You Like It at The Theatre Lab in Washington, D.C., playing the boisterous wrestling announcer, a royal minion, and ensemble member.
In addition to her acting training, Marcelle takes singing lessons at The School of Rock and performs in their adult band, deepening her connection to live performance. She’s also taking adult gymnastics classes to further develop her physicality and movement skills. Outside of training, she loves spending time in nature with her vizsla, Chet, and is dedicated to her health through nutrition.
She brings curiosity, focus, and emotional truth to every role—drawn to characters who quietly fight, evolve, and endure.
