Raised in a Filipino-American household, Isabella Nardi was on a never-ending mission to cure her boredom during her childhood, and so she spent her time developing stories with her friends, filming videos with her Barbie dolls, and daydreaming about being a singing doctor. Noticing her having an eagerness to learn and an immense imagination, her parents pushed her to engage with different interests by signing her up in science summer camps, tennis classes, and acting classes. The latter became her introduction to transforming her ideas into actual stories and inspired her to write and act as an endearing but annoying unicorn in her fifth grade class play. After performing it at her school, she was encouraged by her mother that in addition to academics, she should continue acting.

Throughout middle school and high school, Isabella participated in plays, talent shows, and show choir, as well as taking teen classes at South Coast Repertory. During her undergraduate years, she used acting as a way to connect to her Filipino heritage through participating in Pilipino Cultural Night while also learning acting on film through training at Actor’s Studio of Orange County. Earning a Bachelor’s degree in History strengthened her ability to contextualize her characters’ motivations and their relationship with others in acting. Apart from acting, Isabella spends her time reading, writing, singing, and playing the piano.

With her youthful appearance, she can portray characters in a high school or college setting. Shaped by her multiracial background as well as her personal history in academics and the arts, Isabella Nardi is an actress “from out of this world” who brings complexity and bright mind to reserved characters with hidden strength.
