Deanna Gomez
"A pansexual baddie with a heart of gold and the versatility of May Calamawy and Ana de Armas."
Deanna Gomez is a proud Chicana born and raised in San Bernardino, California. A natural storyteller from a young age, Deanna channels her passion into her work as an actress and filmmaker. Thanks to her roots and experiences, Deanna offers a unique perspective in all that she does. A pansexual feminist raised by a big, exuberant Latinx family, Deanna is your go-to to play strong, independent female leads or your sharp, witty comedic lead. She enjoys working in both comedy and drama but holds a special place in her heart for all things horror and sci-fi.

Deanna enjoys roles that will challenge her. She is versatile in that she can play your hero or villain but will also thrive as the morally gray character audiences can’t help but love.

Although acting is her bread and butter, Deanna considers herself a renaissance woman in storytelling and also writes and directs. She recently directed and starred in the sci-fi horror short, Mother, which will premiere on Shudder as part of the Nyx Horror 13 Minutes of Horror Film Festival. Her original horror short script, Not Your Mama, was also a quarterfinalist for the 2022 Killer Shorts Screenplay Competition.

She has practiced acting at the Actors Studio of Orange County for several years, where she continues to study under the direction of Sonya Cooke through the modern and comprehensive technique known as Seven Pillars Acting. She also studies at the Margie Haber Studio under Natalia Castellanos and has studied Improv at the Groundlings Theatre and School. She is available for both screen acting and voiceover.
