Amos has been studying, performing and teaching improvisation for over 30 years. In San Francisco he was a member of BATS Improv, an ongoing guest performer with True Fiction Magazine and a founder of Tonal Chaos, a group of musical improvisers. He also studied and performed with Jim Cranna (The Committee & National Theatre of The Deranged). In LA Amos continues his studies at the Impro Theatre School in the school’s Lab and has performed in a variety of shows at Impro Studio. He was an Artist in Residence at the San Francisco School of The Arts and a long time teacher as a member of the Tony Award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe.

 

As the Clown Captain in Las Vegas’ Le Reve he taught classes to new performers and character performers. He has also taught acting to national synchronized swimming teams for the U.S. Jr. team and the French Sr. team. For several years he produced, hosted and performed in OK, OK, the amos glick variety show, a massively popular late night show on the Las Vegas Strip that was crowned the Best Budget Show in 2014.

 

In 2017 he helped to conceive, stage and direct The Municipal Circus of Bucharest’s show Reveria, where he taught acting classes to the cast and devised the clown acts. He wrote, produced and starred in the short film, A Man Wakes Up, which won several awards on the festival circuit. Other stage credits include: San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Marin Shakespeare, Tenderloin Opera Company, The New Pickle Family Circus, Alter Theatre, Graeme of Thrones, Piff The Magic Dragon’s Piffmas Pifftacular. Film & TV credits include: Around The Fire, The Village Barbershop, Nash Bridges, Just Roll With It and Agents Of Shield.
