THE ACTOR'S STUDIO OF ORANGE COUNTY

Born in Orange County to Vietnamese immigrants, Amy grew up living the life of a female Troy Bolton from High School Musical. Playing competitive basketball and dabbling in other sports such as badminton, volleyball, and soccer. Performing in skits productions at her church either through acting or dance. She was also in choir throughout her whole public school education. Performing in musicals such as Annie, Wicked, Grease, and Bye Bye Birdie, competing in state wide choir competitions, and caroling during the holidays.

Earning a BA in Cinema and Television Arts at California State University of Fullerton, she immersed herself in the world behind the camera by writing, directing, and producing her own short films. She was also involved in the business side of the entertainment industry such as interning at MorningStar Entertainment a production company known for their scripted and non scripted documentary content that premieres on many channels such as PBS, CW, and A&E.

Her professional acting training began at the Actor studio of Orange County where she learned technique for on-camera and stage acting. Honing her training at Upright Citizen Brigade, The Langlitz Studio, and CSUF. There she learned the skills to be a versatile actor who’s able to be grounded in drama and quick witted in comedy allowing her to play characters on two ends of the stick.
